The Netcare patient portal is an online tool that has been created to enable your personal healthcare management. This online tool enables you to provide Netcare with your relevant personal information as well as to the convenience of completing a pre-admission to a Netcare hospital at a time that suits you. Doing a pre-admission through our web-based online system is safe, and all the information you submit is secure.
To access the patient portal, you are required to do a once-off registration, using:
- A valid ID or passport number
- A valid and active email address (email verification will be performed)
- A valid cell phone number (please enter it in the international format, e.g. +27831231234)
A one-time-pin (OTP) driven password is used for each login so that your information remains private and secure. Upon first login to your patient portal account, a tutorial will guide you through the portal.
Once you have logged in to your patient portal page, you can create a profile for yourself as well as for your dependants, and can update your and their profiles at any stage, should your or their details change.
Completing your profile enables you to submit a pre-admission for to a Netcare hospital at your convenience. If you have created a patient portal account for your child/children under the age of 18, you will be given access to your child/children’s patient portal account using your valid ID number.
