Netcare Blaauwberg Hospital is a multidisciplinary facility, situated off the R27 in Sunningdale.
Our state-of-the-art hospital strives to satisfy the healthcare needs of the expanding communities in the proximity of the hospital and along the West Coast. It has been designed to offer a warm and inviting people centred environment which aids in the recovery of our patients.
Our 24-hour emergency department has a Netcare 911 base and the on-site helipad provides easy access for airlifted patients who have experienced a life threatening medical emergency or accident. We utilize the most innovative technology and equipment to provide advanced treatment.

The hospital provides comprehensive cardiology, cardiothoracic and cardiovascular services and has a cardiac catheterisation laboratory as well as dedicated hybrid and vascular theatres. Other specialized services include metabolic (bariatric) surgery and the hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit is renowned for the successes achieved in the care of premature and micropremature babies.
Facilities include neonatal, adult and paediatric intensive care units, paediatric, maternity, medical and surgical wards, day ward and six theatres.
